Beijing Arrival
BeijingUpon arrival, your guide or driver will meet you at the airport or train station. You will be transferred to your hotel in a comfortable vehicle.
The hotel is centrally located for easy access and rest. The rest of the day is free.
Forbidden City, Jingshan Park, Lama Temple, Shichahai Lake
BeijingStart your day at Tiananmen Square. Then walk through the Meridian Gate into the Forbidden City, the former imperial palace of 24 emperors. Later, go up to Jingshan Park for a wide view over the palace roofs.
In the afternoon, visit the Lama Temple and take part in the simple ritual of incense offering. End the day at Shichahai Lake. Walk around the lakeside and nearby hutongs as the sun goes down.
Mutianyu Great Wall, CBD, Liangma River
BeijingEarly in the morning, drive to Mutianyu Great Wall, take the cable car up and walk along the wall.
Afterward, you will return to the downtown area to visit the Beijing CBD and enjoy the modern cityscape along the Liangma River.
Temple of Heaven, Summer Palace, 798 Art District
BeijingEarly in the morning, visit the Temple of Heaven and join local residents practicing Tai Chi.
Then visit the Summer Palace, the grandest and best-preserved imperial garden in China.
Later, explore 798 Art District, a former factory area now filled with art spaces and cafés.
Beijing Departure
BeijingToday is your last day in Beijing. The day is free for you to relax or take a final walk in the city.
When ready, your guide and driver will meet you at the hotel and take you to the airport or train station. End of your trip.
